Business Support Officer for psychologists who offer sychometric testing for job opportunities

My day started sourcing possible tender opportunities for the company. I sourced tenders for 3 company offices. I worked well with all my co-workers and was their go to person. I learnt the Tender process for Municipal, Government, Educational Institutions pertaining to skills development. I enjoyed the one on one communication with official personnel and the close association with co-workers. We all operated individually within our own job responsibilities. The most challenging aspect was time. There never seemed to be enough time in the normal working day. We were hard pressed to meet tender cut off dates and times. A tremendous amount of work goes into each tender. It was challenging and required intense concentration and accuracy.

Pros: Friendly co-workers, left to own devices
Cons: Long working hours, time management challenging

Company offered psychomeric testing of individuals for job placement.

Job required absolute attention to detail. Concise understanding of the requirements for tendering and strict adherence to layout. Highly educated environment, very professional and skilled interaction with people. Each employee trusted to work on their own, no 'go to person'. A very busy day and extreme pressure to complete projects on time, all the time. I enjoyed being left to my own devices and working on my own, although team playing also presented itself to assist when others projects were time constrained. Amount of work to hours in a day was a challenge. That was the commitment we all respected.

Pros: Trusted to be responsible and work at ones own pace
Cons: No 'go to' person.
